I am Olivia FitzGerald :)

I am a qualified primary school teacher with a specialisation in the subjects English, Physical Education, Science, and Outdoor Education.

I trained to be a primary school teacher in Denmark, and studied Outdoor Education and Experiential Learning at the University of South East Norway.

I have been teaching recreational gymnastics for 20 years and teach locally in Kinsale.

I grew up in Kinsale and have recently moved home after 7 years in Denmark.

I received a distinction when qualifying as a Forest School Leader ( Level 6) from Brigit’s Garden, Galway. I also hold a Level 5 qualification in Permaculture and Organic Horticulture, and am currently continuing Level 6 at the Kinsale College of Further Education.

I am a member of and have been Garda Vetted by the Irish Forest School Association.

I have completed Level 3 Remote Emergency Care First Aid, and various Safeguarding training courses.

I look forward to building a community with you and combining my two passions in life- working with children and spending time in nature!
